Accommodation & Travel Information
This document provides travel instructions for participants arriving via Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). The conference is jointly organised by the COST Action NetSec, the European Initiative for Security Studies (EISS), and Stockholm University.

Getting to Stockholm University from Arlanda Airport
The recommended route is the Arlanda Express train followed by the Red Line metro. This is the fastest and most reliable option, with the total journey taking approximately 30–35 minutes.

Arlanda Express |
From the airport, take the Arlanda Express to Stockholm Central Station (T-Centralen). Trains run every 15 minutes; journey time is 18–20 minutes. One-way tickets cost approx. 340 SEK (student and group discounts available). Purchase online at arlandaexpress.com or at the station. |

Red Line Metro (T-bana 14) |
From T-Centralen, board the Red Line metro (T-bana 14) towards Mörby Centrum. Alight at Universitetet station — this is 4 stops and takes approximately 10 minutes. An SL single ticket costs 43 SEK; travelcards are available via the SL app or at kiosks throughout the city. |

On foot to the venue |
From Universitetet station, Stockholm University is a 2–3 minute walk. Follow signs for the Frescati campus. |
Total journey time: approximately 30–35 minutes Total cost: approx. 383 SEK (~€34)
Taxi: If you prefer a taxi, approved airport taxis are available outside the arrivals hall at Terminal 5 and Terminal 2. The fare to the city centre is approximately 550–750 SEK with a journey time of 45–50 minutes (traffic dependent). Always choose an airport-approved cab.
